Oysters` silence

This is the story of a girl born in a village of workers at a mining camp. After her mother's unexplained disappearance, she must cope with the series of losses life presents her. When mining ends in the area, the village becomes a ghost town. With nowhere else to go, she and her loyal dog remain the only inhabitants. Just when loneliness seems overwhelming, a dam burst devastates the village. Mud engulfs everything. Having lost all she knew, Kaylane is determined to survive and persevere. In this dystopian setting, she seeks to rediscover and redefine herself. This film explores survival and dreaming amidst dust, mud, and silence.
