After humans have taken her dragon's egg, Fiona must recover it from within the heavily fortified castle walls.



Anne Koolen is a Dutch filmmaker and an MFA Film & TV Production student at the University of Southern California. At the age of 12, she received a camera for her birthday and created numerous films with her siblings and friends. Her latest film, “Out of the Smoke,” was shot on the LED volume at USC and tells the story of a girl reclaiming her dragon eggs from a heavily guarded castle. Anne aims to focus on writing and directing and is eager to learn more about VFX/virtual production to eventually create fantasy films.
