Ed was once a prominent figure in Cracow’s club scene. After losing his sight, his life descended into darkness, illuminated only by the LED light of an AI voice assistant with which Ed frequently converses. The AI provides constant companionship, offering help, advice, and commentary during the most dramatic moments of his life. Their interactions reveal unsettling visions of a future where humans and machines coexist. The film is directed by Xawery Deskur.

He graduated from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 2015 and is currently pursuing a PhD at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He completed the Script screenwriting program in 2018/19 and the Doc Pro documentary program at Wajda School in Warsaw in 2019/20. In 2018, he received a screenwriting scholarship from the Polish Film Institute. In 2021, he was awarded the Young Poland scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and in 2022, he received the Creative Grant from the City of Cracow. He has participated in numerous art and film festivals, including SundanceTV Shorts in London, the Berlin Short Film Festival, Artloop Sopot, Fotofestival Lodz, WRO Biennale Wrocław, Narrations Gdańsk, Etiuda & Anima, Cracow Art Salon, and ArtBoom Cracow. He won the Hestia Artistic Journey competition, which included a month-long residency in New York and a solo exhibition at the Propaganda gallery in Warsaw in 2014. He co-created an urban landscape installation called “Noodle” on the roof of the PKP Powiśle pub in Warsaw in 2013. He also takes care of Lars, a rescue rabbit from a Warsaw lab.
